Meet the Team
Meet the dedicated coaches who help Harlem Royal Soccer Club build character, confidence, and community through the game.

Coach Oscar – All age groups
My passion for soccer began when I was young, playing and watching the game whenever I could. Over time, I became fascinated not just by playing, but by the tactical and leadership side of the sport. That interest naturally led me into coaching. What really motivated me was seeing how soccer can help players grow — not only as athletes, but as people. Since then, coaching has become a way for me to share my knowledge, develop talent, and build strong team culture.
Soccer should help young players grow in skill, character, confidence, and love for the game. Join our soccer club and become part of a team that inspires growth, confidence, teamwork, and passion for the game! Whether your child is just starting or looking to improve their skills, our club provides a fun, supportive, and competitive environment where every player can develop on and off the field.
At our club, players learn discipline, leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork while building friendships and creating unforgettable memories. Our goal is not only to develop better soccer players, but stronger, more confident young people. Come train, compete, grow, and love the game with us — your soccer journey starts here!

Coach Americo – Royal Teens (ages 10+)
My passion for soccer began since I was a young kid. I remember my older brother and I used to go to the soccer field where we would have nice time playing soccer together with other friends. That is when my passion for soccer started.
As we grew up my brother and I joined to different soccer teams of my city, Cusco – Peru, in under divisions where I learned and gained a lot of experience and played for many years this beautiful sport. Years later my desire and motivation to help and teach young kids the fundamental soccer skills began.
When I moved to New York in 2012, I joined to West Side soccer League where I volunteered as a coach and soccer referee for about 4 years. The goals for the young players are player development, (with the drills we develop, young players learn basic and more advanced soccer skills), confidence and enjoyment.
Keep dreaming even though sometimes it is hard to achieve. But if you work hard and go step by step, you can go far. Success means hard work.
Harlem Royal soccer is a neighborhood club where we have a diversity of players of all levels from recreational to more advanced athletes. Come and join us and be part of our small community that supports young players regardless of their skill level. We provide a safe environment so that every kid can grow and develop in his or her pace. Our team is focused on building teamwork, character and more importantly to have fun and passion for soccer.
